The Afeka College of Engineering in Israel is developing an Unmanned Autonomous Burrowing Vehicle that can be used as a burrowing missile or bomb when it reaches a target. It can also be used to take out surface targets or underground fortified bunkers/bases if a diamond cutter is utilized. This is currently only a prototype for proof of concept and is in the initial testing phase.
